Starting as a one-man team, the firm only used to offer bookkeeping and payroll services. When the founder’s partner who is a CPA came in a year after the business had been established, its offerings expanded to include accounting, tax, and other administrative functions.

The Contractor’s Office is the brainchild of Yaakov Gluck who was inspired to start the business after he has seen firsthand the everyday challenges that his brother faces while working in the landscaping industry.
Although Yaakov started the business with a focus on contracting businesses as the specialty niche, it wasn’t long after that the firm expanded to serve small businesses in other industries including retail, food and beverage, education, and non-profits. With the realization that small businesses generally face the same issues of managing administrative functions and knowing their numbers, we continuously strive to deepen our expertise in accounting, bookkeeping, and back office management over the years to cater to the needs of our wider range of customers.
